Task One:
Spelling
We have spelling happening again this week. In
class we have done your ‘tooling’. Test your words every night and be ready for
a spelling test at the end of the week.
Task Two: Current
Events
Our inquiry this term is based on ‘Reduce,
Reuse, Recycle’ and learning to live in ways that benefit our environment. If
you are on Current Events any time this week (see the timetable on the board in
Rm6) you need to find current events news that is related in some way to this
topic. This will be more challenging than Current Events so far this year and
may need more research. Please be prepared, complete the tasks outlined in the
Current Events scrapbook and return the book to school the next day ready to
discuss with the class.
Task Three:
Maths
If you didn’t complete the multiplication
grid in maths time on Monday you need to complete a grid every night this week.
-Ensure you’re polygon art poster is
completed and handed in by the end of this week.
Task Four:
Reading
-Please read for at least 20minutes each
night. Be sure to have your reading book with you each day at school and be
ready to share with others what you are reading.
-Literature Circle group please be ready for
your group meeting with your tasks completed.
Dates and
notices:
-Remember we are Cross Country training so
you must wear sports uniform.
-Swimming this Thursday, bring togs, towel,
goggles.
-Cross Country next Wed Aug 12th
