Hi everyone. I hope you've all had a nice weekend and looking forward to the week ahead. As always, some interesting things going on. Your Must Dos need to be all completed by this Friday, so please make sure you're organised and doing your best!
Happenings this week:
-Tues May 22nd = Public Library visit
-Wed May 23rd = Mass, Sing Squad, Music
-Thurs May 24th = Sticks 'n' Stones
-Fr May 25th = Mrs Tehuia-Holmes in Rm 6, Buddy Reading, Assembly, School Disco.
Must Dos to complete this week:
-Maths Weekly Plan tasks focusing on decimals and fractions
-Maths Digital Learning Objects (online from NZ maths) focusing on Addition and Subtraction
-Personal reading book pages
-Curious Minds Reading task (Rising Seas)
-Spelling words and activities (List 23 & 24)
-Writing (a choice of Poetry, Short Story or Opinion Writing) to be drafted, edited, and proofread.
-Inquiring Eyes Film and response activity (Learning about Climate Change)
-RE tasks (Holy Spirit Art)
-Science PAT test
-Some of you will also have Current Events tasks to complete on one night of the week. Please remember that I expect you to spend some homework time to complete these to the best of your ability, and if you have managed to do that early then please spend some time enjoying your novel.
