Dear Parents/Caregivers,
We have two exciting events coming up in the next few weeks.
On Thursday November 30th the Sticks ‘n Stones Ambassadors from around the region are coming together for a team challenge day out on Matangi Station behind the clock in Alexandra.
Overview of the day
9:15 Briefing.
The day starts at 9.30am and will finish at 2.30pm.
During the day students will take part in a wide range of team challenges alongside students from other schools that encourage them to push themselves, work with others, practice leadership skills and step outside their comfort zones.
What to bring
-Students need to wear old clothes and sports shoes so that they will not be concerned about getting wet or dirty (no open toed shoes or sandals please).
-They should also bring a change of clothes, togs and a towel!!
- An old jandal (needed for a game - could be old / broken)
-Please bring a packed lunch with more snacks than usual and a large water bottle to keep energy and hydration up throughout the day.
-Please also bring a wide brimmed hat and sunscreen.
-Personal medication is to be carried by the student -epi pens, asthma inhalers, hayfever pills (it is a terrible place for hayfever).
-$3 to cover the cost of equipment hire
Transport Details
We hope to take vans from school, leaving school at 8:50am and returning from Matangi station around 2:30pm. If you can provide transport for the day please detach the form below and return to school asap. Mentors are arranged for the day so parent help is not needed. We ask that parent drivers drop students and then return later in the day to pick up.

On Friday 15th December we will be going to watch the movie ‘Wonder’ at the Central Cinema. This is an excellent book that many of you have read. The cost of this will be $3.
