Task One: Spelling

Please complete your words for this week which you have taken from your draft writing books. Normal routine but with your own words.

Task Two: Maths

-Division worksheet again for everyone this week
-Please complete times tables grids each night if you were over the 4.15min cut off this week.

Task Three: Current Events

Check on the board in Rm 6 to see if you are on this week. Please be ready to present to the class and lead a discussion.

Task Four: Reading

-Reading and tasks to be completed by Literature Circles groups on time for your group meeting please.
-Short Stories group please continue to read your own book for at least 20mins each night and bring to school to discuss and read.

Task Five: Rippa forms

If you’re in the Rippa tournament on Thurs and you haven’t yet completed the rugby union form please do so asap. Aplogies the form wasn’t always working last week but apparently this issue has been corrected. Here’s the link

Notices & Dates

-Tues June 6th = Lookout Reserve Native planting. Please wear PE gear and bring gardening gloves if you can
-Wed June 7th = Pinecone collection in the afternoon. Bring sacks if you have them and wear PE gear.
-Thurs June 8th = Rippa tournament @ Molyneux park. See your notice for details. Those attending school please wear PE gear as you will hopefully be attending a native tree planting event at Boundary Rd in the afternoon.
-Music on Fri morning this week with Rm 5, bring an instrument if you can play one!
-Rm 6 Prayer this week = Hannah & Amber. Please prepare something different for prayer each day. Use your imagination & creativity!

NOTE: This week is World Environment week. See the blog for activities going on around Alexandra. In particular
à Boomerang Bags = Sewing your own reuseable bags. Thurs 8th June 7-9pm @ Community House
àBag-it = Pizza and Movie night. Sat 10th June 6pm @ The Youthbase, $5.
