Water monitoring Trip - June 6th - Parent helper needed for small group

Hi Parents
The students in Room 6 have been continuing with our Manuherikia Catchment Water Monitoring program this year. The class has been broken into four groups, your child is part of the group who will be doing the next round of data collection around the main tributaries of the catchment on Wed June 6th. Below are some details. We are looking for one parent to help Mr Hogue on the day, transporting students and overseeing their safety. If you can help on this day please contact me as soon as possible. Cheers!

·      What - In 2018 Room 6 are continuing working on our long term science project, monitoring water quality around the ManuherikiaRiver catchment.

·      When – Wed 6th June. 9am-3pm.

·      Where – Meet at school. Travel all around the Manuherikia catchment, including Chatto Ck, Thompsons Ck, Lauder Ck, Dunstan Ck, Ida Burn and Manor Burn

·      What to bring & wear – Wear mufti. Warm clothes, rain jacket, beanie, sunhat, gumboots or old shoes, sunscreen, lunch, water bottle and any medications.(Optional: camera - you are responsible for this!)

·      Team members on this trip – Cody, Rafe, Jessica, Mia, Imojen, Millie, Libby

·      Adults supervising this trip -  Mr Hogue and one parent.
