Task one: Eisteddfod Singing
-Please continue to practice your
Eisteddfod singing and if necessary organize your instruments, backing singers
or backing music.
-Our class Eisteddfods will be on
Monday 19th Sept and Tues 20th Sept. You MUST be ready!
Task
Two: Te Reo Karakia
Only two people out of the whole
class learnt this off by heart last week. You will all be expected to attempt
to recite it to the class on Thursday and/or Friday. Keep practicing!
Task
Three: Prayer/Karakia à
Charlie & Tyron.
This
week prayer will be focusing on Social Justice Week
Remember to get creative with
this and bring some things from home to add to our display and Prayer/Karakia
activities.
· The prayer display must include:
1.) A bible 2.) Candles 3.) Appropriate prayer cloth 4.)
A Crucifix or cross.
· Prayer time must include a
different form of prayer each day. Examples might be:
-Thankyou prayers – Prayers for
the world – Hope prayers – Meditation – Compliments – Singing – Prayers with
pictures – Our Father –Hail Mary – Rosary – Scripture – Poems –Other readings
· On top of these things you can be
creative and have fun leading us!
Task
Four: Reading
Please spend at least 20 minutes
each night reading your book. Remember to also bring your book to school every
day to read. People involved in Literature Circles groups make sure you are
ready for your group meeting

& Dates
-River Safe swimming this Tues
morning and every Tues morning this term. Please remember t-shirt and shorts, togs
and towel, and goggles if you have them. Meet at the pool 9am.
-Musical practices this week…be
organized and ready!
-Polyfest on Wednesday in Dunedin
for the Kapa Haka group.
-Cardboard city on Thurs night.
Please return your forms asap so we know which parents can help!
-Room 5 & 6 leading Mass on
Friday, all are welcome to join us.
