Homework Term Two Week Eight

Task one: Eisteddfod Poetry

Last week you chose your Eisteddfod poem. This week you need to write and learn your introduction and learn your poem. Practice with family, practice with friends, practice in the mirror! Remember your clear voice, appropriate speed, interesting tone, strong volume, confident body language and use of props.

Task Two: Current Events

Normal routine this week, check on the board for the timetable. Put in the time and effort and thinking to be well informed about your chosen article.

Task Three: Spelling

Task Four: Reading

Please spend at least 20 minutes each night reading your book. Remember to also bring your book to school every day to read.

Task Five: Maths

Times tables grids for those who didn’t complete theirs in class on Monday. One grid each night in your homework book please.

-Musical auditions this Thurs June 23^rd. Learn up a song that your character will be singing.

-RE assembly this Fri June 24^th.

-Thurs June 23^rd Senior syndicate Matariki celebration.

-We start skating and curling next week, Tuesday June 28^th.

-ODT Writing competition entries dues on July 8^th.
