one: Research Task. What BELONGS in our
local river?
Next Monday March 13th
we will have Sophie Allen from the Working Water Trust taking us on a field
trip to the Manuherikia river. We’ll be looking at invertebrates, river
quality, and trying to spot some bullies (little native fish!). Your main
homework project is to find your favorite bullie from the link below and do
some research to present a profile a picture (photo, painting or sketch) and with
key information on the fish you’ve chosen. You can present how you like (eg
poster, powerpoint, speech, google slide etc)

Two: Maths
If you didn’t complete this weeks
maths times table grid in the 5min limit then you must complete a maths times
tables grid in your homework book each night. I will be checking these on
Friday. Well done to those who improved throughout last week!
Task
Three: Reading
Please spend at least 20 minutes
each night reading your book. Remember to also bring your book to school every
day to read. Be ready to share with me and with others in class what is
happening in your book.

Please be planning ahead, looking
over your camp equipment list and making sure you’re well organized for next
