Apologies for the late posting of this, it slipped my mind on Monday and I only just realised that I never posted it up!
Task one: Maths
-Statistics project: You will have time in
class this week to work on your project. If you need extra time to get it
finished this becomes homework.
-If you have taken home a game to help you
with Basic Facts or Place Value knowledge please make the most of this
opportunity and play at least one game each night.
Task Two: Current
Events
Well done all those who’ve done current
events so far, most of you have been well organized and done a great job or
putting things into your own words. If you are on Current Events any time this
week please be prepared, complete the tasks outlined in the Current Events
scrapbook and return the book to school the next day.
Task Three:
Spelling
You should each have your list of words for
this week. In class we have done your ‘tooling’. If you need to repeat this at
home to be confident with your words for this week then please do. Test your
words every night and be ready for a spelling test on Friday.
Task Four:
Reading
As usual please spend at least 15 minutes
each night reading and enjoying your book. Please remember to bring it to
school each day.
Notices:
-Walk ‘n’ Wheel week this week, please keep
your tracking card in your bag and we will update these every day at school.
Let’s be the best class!
-Wed 4th March, Central Otago
Swimming Champs. Good luck all those competing!
Happy week 6!
Mr Yeoman
